This kitchen has been designed using a wideframe style of door; this is an updated version of a classic shaker style. The door has been constructed in American white oak, which shows a natural variation on each door.
The kitchen is both stylish and practical, curved mullions have been used to soften the lines and the area around the hob has been stepped out to add additional interest. A combination of drawers and units has been used to maximize storage but also to balance the symmetry of the design. A tall oven housing has been created to house both a double oven and microwave, elevating the need to sit a microwave on the work surface.
AEG stainless steel appliances have been fitted throughout, including a hob, extractor and dishwasher.
Black granite work surfaces have been used as a contrasting feature, the black colour has been continued as a cornice around the tall units.
A round glass table has been designed to echo the curves of the mullions used and has been fitted around a wall providing a stylish eating area. The use of glass has been continued with glass shelved mounted on the wall on a matching oak frame and in the use of glazed wall units.
The utility area has been designed with an open pantry which provides masses amounts of storage and a home for a free standing washing machine and separate dryer
This design showcases the use of natural materials in a practical modern setting
