Adjacent to the storage and appliances in the impressive Amana double-door fridge freezer in matching black glass and stainless steel. The tall cabinets surrounding the fridge freezer provide further storage. the use of bulkheads above the tall furniture frames gives a clean finish , as well as creating the appearance of built-in furniture.
The centrally located isnald provides storage and a place for informal dining by way of the raised glass breakfast bar which echoes the islands 'wing' shape. the island also accomodates a five zone Miele ceramic induction hob, dishwasher and pop-up Evoline 3 socket port which is cleverly concealed by a recessed stainless steel disc, helping to maintain the clean lines and contemporary aesthetic. Impressively, the wolf downdraught extractor unit rises from the work surface to help eliminate odours from the kitchen environment using a system of under floor ducting which leads to an external extraction point. this form of extraction is an excellent alternative in situations like this, where a wall or ceiling-mounted extractor cannot be fitted.
The work surfaces featured are manufactured using corian, a non-porous material, thermoformed to create a wide variety of forms thus lending itself nicely to being wrapped seamlessly around the stunning wing shaped of the island whils incorporating a moulded sink. the alluminium tambour shutters with corian pilasters and he inclusion of built in fish tanks provide further cotrast to the solid black panels and enchance the overall visual appeal of the stunning contemporary design.
